Our UNIQLO Manager Candidate (UMC) Program will prepare you to take on many roles, such as an innovator, talent developer, problem solver, and above all a business leader. You will join a group of passionate and diverse peers in a nine-month training program in our U.S. stores and develop into talented, high potential manager candidates with the tools, knowledge, and UNIQLO DNA to successfully become a UNIQLO manager and business leader.

As a member of the Store Management team, you will help fulfill the company’s corporate statement “Changing clothes. Changing conventional wisdom. Change the world.” by driving sales and profit with your team and building customer loyalty through excellent customer service. Under the supervision of your Store Manager/Trainer, you will oversee an engaged, productive store team by leading by example and demonstrating strong leadership and initiative. After the nine-month UMC Program, the typical UMC Career path leads from Store Manager Candidate to Store Manager and then to leadership roles in UNIQLO’s store and overall business operations.

As a UMC, you are responsible for supporting the store and team in the following areas:
o  Maximization of sales and profit via sales and inventory management
o  Employee staffing, training and development
o  Exceptional customer service
o  Overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation
