Finance Leaders Program: Financial Management Analysts

Recent graduates are invited to apply for the FINANCE LEADERS PROGRAM at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The Finance Leaders Program is a development program that offers our high-potential, entry level employees a well-rounded foundation in financial management through learning and development opportunities such as rotational assignments, formal training, mentoring, coaching, and other developmental activities as a cohort. Positions also have built in career ladder promotions (from GS-7/9 to GS-12).

At GSA OCFO, we manage more than $25 billion in spending annually for an organization of 11,000+ employees. We are a non-traditional government financial office, getting 99% of our funds through sales rather than directly from Congress. Our team of financial management professionals provides strategic consulting and advice to our business partners, helping them deliver on their mission.

We’re looking for public-service-oriented critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators to be future finance leaders in government. Candidates can come from wide ranging backgrounds, including: business administration, public administration, political science, and economics, among others. What matters is your interest in financial management and passion for making government more effective and efficient.

Why work at GSA OCFO? GSA OCFO is ranked 23rd best place to work in federal government out of 420. We also offer an array of work-life balance options, including flexible work schedules and teleworking. Other great benefits include: monthly transit subsidy, excellent health benefits, retirement savings plan, and student loan repayment program.

How do I apply? We have three full-time, permanent positions currently posted on USAJobs: Accountant, Budget Analyst and Financial Management Analyst. Follow those three links to apply by Monday October 5, 2020. For additional tips on how to apply please follow this GSA link.
