Revenue Tax Specialist Trainee

The RTS Trainee is a great position that will help you gain state tax knowledge. The RTS Trainee receives structured classroom and on-the-job training involving various facets of Agency-wide activities and operations related to the processing of all types of taxes. RTS trainees will complete assignments of a routine nature in specific phases of the tax examining process. Some RTS Trainees work directly with taxpayers over the phone or in person and assist them with their questions. Other RTS Trainees work with the processing of taxpayers’ returns or collection of liability payments.

Position Requirements:
A Revenue Tax Specialist Trainee is a full-time position with benefits, an annual starting salary of $39,456 to $54,744 per year and a career salary of up to $77,328 per year. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and a passing grade from CMS.
