Preschool Assistant Teacher
Ready Set Learn is seeking to hire a qualified, dedicated assistant teacher for an education based preschool classroom.
Job Details
- Help implement age appropriate lesson plans
- Keep children safe and LOVED!
- Hours: Consistent hours 5 days a week -10:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday - Flexibility within a consistent schedule may be available
- Follow Columbia Public Schools Schedule for holidays and breaks (spring break, Thanksgiving break, Winter break, MLK Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day)
- Open all summer - closed week of 4th of July
- Communicate positively and effectively with parents, students, and coworkers
Must
- be positive
- be reliable and responsible
- love watching children learn and grow
- be confident in setting respectful limits for children
- be playful, sing, dance with children
- be willing to work in team atmosphere
- be available to start as soon as possible
- be looking for long term employment
Preferred
- Previous professional experience in similar field
- Some level of education within early childhood development, education, teaching or a similar field
