Student Assistant
The Archaeometry Laboratory at the University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) is seeking a Student Assistant to routinely fill liquid nitrogen tanks throughout the reactor complex. Must be able to work reliably without direct supervision and pay attention to detail in fulfilling duties. Hours are flexible, provided that the duties are completed twice weekly throughout the entire year. This is a permanent, hourly position requiring 10-15 hours per week. Moving nitrogen tanks requires the ability to lift 65+ pounds. Preferred candidates will be year-round residents of Columbia (or the surrounding area) who have at least 2 years remaining in their academic career. The position is not appropriate for graduate students.
