What You’ll Do
You will lead a classroom in one of 51 high-need urban and rural regions across the country. You will work in partnership with colleagues, families, and community members to go beyond traditional expectations and have a profound impact on your students’ academic and personal growth. TFA corps members teach a multitude of subjects from pre-K through grade 12, including (but not limited to): science, math, computer science, humanities, language arts, English, reading, special education, Spanish/bilingual education, ESL, history, social studies, and many more.

In addition to the impact you’ll have on your students, you will gain context, clarity, and conviction to lead a life of impact from any sector or field you choose.

What You’ll Get:
Throughout your two years in the corps, you will have access to an unparalleled resource and support network, including ongoing training and development. After your initial summer training, you’ll be hired by a school district in your placement region and receive the same salary and benefits as other beginning teachers. What You’ll Need:
Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA and completed a bachelor’s degree. Applicants must be a citizen, national, or legal resident of the United States or have DACA status.
