Systems Analyst – Digital Content

Overview

Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Systems Analyst – Digital Content to support the IT Functional Manager. This is primarily seated in New York, NY corporate offices, however, the candidate must be willing to travel to Parsippany, NJ 1-2 days each week. This role is responsible for gathering, documenting, and refining functional requirements as well as designing technical solutions to support the development and enhancement of business and software applications supporting Tiffany.com. The Systems Analyst is responsible for developing a deep knowledge of supported business areas, IT applications, and enterprise integrations. The Systems Analyst will conduct functional requirement and solutioning sessions, document current, and to-be systems flow and create detailed functional and technical documentation and user stories to support the development team. Being the SME, the Systems Analyst will also closely partner with the architects and development teams to support the documenting of Technical Specifications and QA testing. With the deep knowledge of the applications and integrations, the Systems Analyst will be able to come up with viable technical solutions to complex business requests and ensure that the business and technical teams are both aligned on the solution.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly understand business needs and technical architecture, facilitating complex functional and technical requirements gathering and architectural solutions sessions. In conjunction with the Product team, developing detailed User Stories, Functional Requirements, and Technical Specification documentation. Owning detailed functional and technical User Story solutions, partnering closely with the Product and Architecture/Development teams to ensure there is alignment between business needs and technical constraints and capabilities. Managing complex integration of data sources and solutions, identifying cross-functional and cross-system impacts to new solution development and bug fixes. Ensuring the business needs are met by the designed solution, while also developing and communicating solution improvements and recommendations to the Product Team. Communicating across a diverse group of stakeholders and managing multiple User Stories simultaneously. Learning and configuring the systems that are being implemented and/or modified. Creating documentation and training end-users on new features, functions, platform updates, and applications. Delivering enhancements and projects following the formal planning, tracking, and reporting mechanisms that align with the project management office (PMO) standards. Ensuring incidents and problems are being actively resolved within defined service level agreements of our application managed service partners or Tiffany IT Policy. Partnering closely with the Scrum Master and Project Management team in understanding timelines, milestone dates, and constraints to ensure on-time and budget delivery of product features. Managing scope and user expectations by ensuring requirements can be met within existing project budgets and timeframes. Assisting Project Managers in the development of detailed project plans and work assignments. Monitoring progress to ensure project deliverables are met. Tracking progress to plan. Communicating status to project team members and management. Configuration set-up/updates to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and the eCommerce Platform.

Qualifications

• Education or experience in IT related to software development or support
• 6 to 8 years’ experience in a Business or Systems Analyst role
• Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred; strong experience with web content management tools
• Ability to set-up and update configurations for CMS (Adobe Experience Manager – AEM) and eCommerce Platform
• Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Test and Target, Jira, Confluence, HP ALM, SharePoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project preferred
• Experience in Retail and eCommerce
• Proven analyst skills spanning business functions and applications
• Full lifecycle solution development, from requirements gathering through build, test, deploy, and support
• Demonstrated experience documenting use cases and functional requirements
• Basic SQL query skills and strong familiarity navigating database structures and integration design documentation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional departments in requirements sessions
• Demonstrated ability to partner and liaison between business users and a technical development team
• Sensitivity to the multi-cultural characteristics of a global IT organization
• Formal training in Business Analysis and Business Process Modeling
• 3+ years of Agile and SDLC experience
• Experience in multiple technology platforms (eCommerce, order management systems, analytics, CRM, email service providers, CMS, image repository, data warehouse, etc.)
• Experience with React technology
• Experience with Global & Luxury Brands
• Previous experience working on large transformational initiatives / re-platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Previous experience as a web developer
