Agricultural Research Intern

MOARK Agricultural Research, LLC is seeking a summer intern for the 2021 season. Our
company is a private contract agricultural research organization performing research in corn,
rice, soybeans, and cotton, as well fruit, vegetable, and tree crops. We perform the bulk of our
small plot research on-site at our Fisk, MO headquarters, but we also have plots in Southwest
Illinois and Northeast Arkansas. We provide a wide range of agricultural research services that
includes chemical dissipation studies, decline studies, variety testing, and chemical efficacy
studies.

We are currently looking for a motivated, hard-working individual to help us with our daily
activities during the summer months. We would be willing to help the intern obtain college
credit for the experience. Normal working hours would be approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:30
p.m., Monday through Friday, with some variation depending on deadlines, weather, etc. Job
duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
 Data collection (stand counts, plant height, boll counts, etc.)
 Sample collection
 Corn pollination
 Data entry
 Facility maintenance
 Weed chopping
 Crop scouting
 Planting/harvest activities
 Spray applications

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a wide variety of crops. No prior
experience is required. This is a paid internship. Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
