Job Overview

As an intern you will work with Service & Supply COOP at one of our locations in East Central

Missouri. You will learn how to put together agronomic programs such as spraying, topdressing,

and seed sales. You will also learn how to communicate with the farmers and managers of the

company and learn the day-to-day activities of an Agronomy Salesperson. This opportunity is

for anyone with the tenacity to work hard and desire to learn more about the agricultural

community and the career opportunities it presents.

Responsibilities and Duties

 Working with an Agronomy Supervisor to create agronomy programs in-season

 Maintaining plot sites with Seed Salesperson

 Communicating with farmers about needs of chemicals, fertilizer, and seed

Qualifications

 Education Level: Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior standing

 Major: Any Agriculture Major

o Including, but not limited to: Plant Science, Agricultural Business, Agricultural

Systems Management, etc.

Reports to

The Agronomy Intern will report to the Location Manager and Agronomy Manager.
