2021 CARE Spring and/or Summer Job Coaches

CARE summer job coaches may work between 10 and 28 hours per week (more hours worked per week = larger caseload) from March to August. Job coach schedules are flexible with daytime, evening, and weekend hours available. We can work around most other schedules. Coaches may work during the spring and summer OR just the spring OR just the summer (that is up to your availability).

Job coaches must have reliable transportation and a dependable cell phone. We do give
mileage reimbursement and a cell phone allowance.

Duties include:
  •  answering telephones
  •  greeting the public
  •  assisting applicants with
  • online applications
  •  scheduling interviews
  •  co-interviewing (with another interviewer) and scoring interviews
  •  assisting trainees with hiring paperwork
  •  assisting with trainings
  •  assisting with orientations
  •  mentoring trainees (14- to 18-year-olds)
  •  meeting with trainees and work site supervisors at the work site
  •  visiting and observing trainees working on-site
