Graphic Design Intern
Basic Description:
The Graphic Design Intern position is a part time position/ internship within our Marketing Department. The candidate should be able to create, edit, and audit any projects and documents, including but not limited to, fliers, infographics, post cards, brochures, print ads, yard signs, logos, business cards, promotional items, banners, and booklets. An eye for perfection is extremely important.
Responsibilities:
● Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite products, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
● Learning the latest techniques
● Meeting deadlines with fast-paced turn-around times
● Problem-solving to improve designs while maintaining client expectations
● Working in a small team environment, often independently on projects
● Any other requests the supervisor and/or department assigns as needed
Qualifications:
● Experience in a design oriented position, preferred, or working towards a degree in a similar field.
● Independent work style, yet comfortable collaborating with others
● Enjoys a diversity of tasks, and projects
● Takes pride and ownership in the work produced
● Handles constructive criticism; Provides feedback on other work in office
● Demonstrates supportive communication in design
● Positive attitude, sense of humor and dedication to bettering their environment
Experience with photography, social media, and event planning preferred
