Bilingual Therapist

Job Purpose:
LifeWise StL is seeking a full-time Bilingual Therapist to work individually and with groups primarily in our Maternal Mental Health Program. An ideal candidate will be well-versed in trauma-informed care, able to work individually and as part of a collaborative team, familiar with culturally responsive interventions, and comfortable working in a community service setting.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support LifeWise StL participants through one on one therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation and care coordination that is supportive of treatment plans.
  • Support LifeWise StL participants and Mental Health programing via in-person (both in office and in home) and virtual groups.
  • Support planning and coordination of mental health programs and its activities.
  • Ensure implementation of policies and practices.
  • Serve in an advisory capacity to other LifeWise StL programs intersecting with mental health.
  • Ensure the programs and services offered by the Mental Health program contribute to the organization’s mission and reflect the priorities approved by the funders.
  • Identify, lead and support new traditional and non-traditional program opportunities.
  • Keep updated records and create reports
  • Reports to the Director of Emotional and Physical Wellness.
  • LifeWise StL staff partner with individual and group volunteers, who provide over 25,000 service hours to the organization annually. As such, the successful employee will work collaboratively with organizational leadership, co-workers, volunteers, and colleagues from within and outside the organization to deliver and support holistic, client-focused programming.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Required Experience:

  • Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker registered with the State of Missouri OR LMSW
  • Minimum of one-year experience in social services, particularly with one-on-one case management experience or counseling experience.
  • Minimum of one year of experience with direct participant work.
  • Enthusiasm for the mission of LifeWise StL.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt role as needed, especially as the program and needs of participants evolve.
  • Experience working with underserved and diverse populations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and non-traditional hours.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
