Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office Internship-PAID

The Mizzou Ticket Office provides a progressive, goal oriented, full year collegiate ticket operations intern program to allow the opportunity for students earning course credit. 

Position Responsibilities:
  • Learn Ticketmaster Archtics ticketing software.
  • Assist with supervision of sports & aid in the game day preparations.
  • Assist with creation of learning how to build a season with software.
  • Manages player guest, recruit, will call admission, media pass list and game-day ticket sales.
  • Organize & check batch folders.
  • Attend game operations meetings and support game operations managers with the execution of game management plans for all sports.
  • Service and interact with customers on a regular basis to help resolve ticketing questions and concerns.
  • Assist with administrative tasks for the department, i.e. data entry, updating spreadsheets, general office work.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Candidate must earn college course credit from an accredited institution.
  • Must work ALL 2021 home football games 9/4, 9/18, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 11/13, 11/20.
  • Available to start August 2021.
  • Must be energetic, responsible, organized and motivated to work in college athletics.
  • Demonstrate necessary mindset to be successful in sales and operations with a desire to build quality relationships.
  • Have a friendly and personable telephone presence and excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective in both verbal and written communication.
  • Strong desire to learn about the ticket operations and college athletics industry.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Consistent display of a professional demeanor.
