National Non-Profit Support
Amazing opportunity for a high caliber graduate student (or high performing undergraduate, junior/senior) looking to add some diverse experience to their resume while learning the inner workings of a national non-profit organization committed to improving the health of communities through research.
We are seeking 1 part-time employee for the summer (and possibly fall). We offer fairly flexible hours Monday-Friday between the hours of 9-6. This employee will be scheduled to work approximately 8-12 hours per week. This is an in-person position and the applicant will need reliable transportation.
Responsibilities may include administrative support for the following areas of the organization:
- Administrative support for the Executive Director
- Calendar management
- Mail management
- Errands
- Task follow-up
- Meeting minutes
- Special projects as assigned
- Scanning documents
- Office move management
- Events planning support
- Office maintenance coordination (supplies, vendors, organization, etc.)
- Coordinating support tickets with IT
- Board of Directors and committee participation
- Website content support
- Drafting documents
- Copyediting (not required, but may be offered to qualified candidates)
Requirements:
Enrolled in college (junior, senior, or graduate), positive attitude, high-energy, detail oriented, self-starter, excellent verbal and written communication, team oriented, and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation:
$17/hour
