Work Comp Authorization Specialist

The Work Comp Authorization Specialist works directly with work comp insurance carriers, utilization review/case management teams and third-party administrators to ensure work comp claims are authorized timely and reimbursed accurately. The main duties of the position include submitting accurate information and documents in relation to the work comp injury to the appropriate carrier, conducting all necessary follow-up protocols to achieve claim approval and notifying appropriate personnel so that DME products can be dispensed to patients and claims can be processed and reimbursed accurately.

Required Skills:
