Duties/Responsibilities (add functional job description here)
Wells Fargo Advisors currently has multiple Securities Operations Service Specialist 2 (SOSS 2) positions available within various Operations groups in St Louis, MO.
The SOSS 2 is an entry-level role into Wells Fargo Advisors. Team members in these positions will be trained to perform a variety of operational tasks for securities or cash related transactions or processes that require knowledge of unit functions and systems. The role requires great attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication skills. This group has unlimited growth potential and a SOSS 2 willing to take on the challenges of working in the brokerage industry can go far!
Duties will vary based on the department. They may include but are not limited to the following:
- Processing and reconciling transactions
- Identifying discrepancies in data sets or transactions
- Reviewing time sensitive and/or detailed documents
- Managing a pipeline of work from start to completion
- May cooperate with other departments in the resolution of issues
- Provides back-up for other team members as needed
- May have customer contact via phone and/or email
- Meeting quality and production standards of work
- Working independently under minimal supervision
We assign individuals strictly on business need; applicants must understand that placement is not dependent on preference and may be into any open SOSS 2 role.
The candidate must be open to the following criteria:
· Working hours will be 8-hour shifts, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
· Candidates must be willing to take on any open SOSS 2 role. The position could be a straight processing role (behind the scenes completing transactions) or a blend of processing and servicing (inbound and/or outbound calls).
· Shift and department assignments are not determined until offer.
· A cleared background check may be required prior to hire.
· Overtime is likely and could be required in any role based on department need.
