Job purpose
 
This position is primarily responsible for driving and supporting Financial Advisor initiatives through marketing activity, Social Media, firm wide resources, and outside organizations. Another key responsibility is developing a larger external presence through the use of technology and internal sales to acquire new clients and reach the ‘next generation’ target market. Additionally, this person will support in their business activity, appointments, and reporting.
 
Duties and responsibilities
 
  • Calling existing prospects and clients to book appointments, generate leads as well as confirm booked appointments
  • Follow up on submitted Life, Investment Annuity, Financial Planning cases
  • Data Analysis and Data Mining using various Websites, Excel, and salesforce
  • Project management support for Financial Advisor initiatives and goals
  • Collaborate on marketing materials such as client appreciation mailing in addition to organizing quarterly seminars, yearly client appreciation events
  • Build relationships with outside businesses and individuals
  • Utilizing Salesforce to track activity and opportunities
  • Provide white glove service to all clients
  • Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as requested or required
 
Qualifications
 
·       Associate Degree or higher
·       1+ years working experience. Financial customer service experience preferred.
·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·       A creative and resourceful flair
·       Networking Ability- strong relationship building skills
·       Collaborative attitude
·       Exceptionally professional, organized, and detail-oriented
·       A can-do, proactive attitude with the ability to adapt and deliver under pressure
·       Salesforce and Social Media program familiarity
·       Ability to thoroughly compile data and keep trackers up to date
 
Working conditions
 
Part Time to start 10-20 hours per week. Preferred at least two days a week in Glastonbury office.
