Financial Analyst
Permanent Equity is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our fun, passionate, and small business focused team. This individual will report directly to the VP of Finance and will work closely with the finance teams at each of our portfolio companies, as well as internally with the finance team at Permanent Equity. The ideal candidate will be as good at building relationships and communicating as they are at analyzing numbers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with portfolio companies to prepare forecasts
- Monitor performance and review regular financials from portfolio companies
- Assist with valuation on incoming acquisition opportunities
- Light bookkeeping/journal entries
- Generate reports for operating partners
- Communicate around financial performance/expectations with key stakeholders
- Other ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- 2-5 years relevant FP&A experience or combination of education+experience
- Knowledge of Excel, Quickbooks or other accounting software
- Excellent communication skills
- Relationship focused finance professional
- Willingness to relocate to Columbia, MO
