Sales Audit Associate
The Sales Audit Associate is responsible for recording and auditing the daily store sales and corresponding revenue collection. They will also be responsible for the daily resolution and logging of credit card chargebacks and retrieval requests. The position will utilize multiple internal and external systems in order to respond to chargeback claims within contractual time limits.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Responsible for auditing assigned group of Stores’ daily POS transactions, ensuring accurate recording of sales, tender types, cash over/short
- Modifying transactions in an automated system
- Validate assigned Stores’ daily cash deposits; monitoring for and communicating variances
- Respond timely to Credit Card Chargeback requests
- Perform special projects to support Manager, Sales Audit/ Inventory Control team, Finance Management or others as assigned
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word & Internet applications
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
- Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationship with co-workers and cross-functional teams
- Good communication skills with the ability to multi task in an ever changing department
Required Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred
- 1 – 2 years of experience in sales audit or related field
- Create partnerships across customer base, customer service focused
