After School Teacher
Job Description
- Assist with checking in children after school and making sure they get to their assigned groups. Assist with recess, snack time, Rocket Math and/or reading.
- Assist with cleaning the facility as the students leave for the day.
Work schedule:
Summer - 7/19-9/3: Hours can vary from 7am-5:30pm, but we are flexible with our scheduling.
Fall - Once school starts, we are open 3:00-6:00 daily, but must be at Eagle Acheivers by 2:45 in order to get to the school in time to pick the kids up. Most shifts during the school year are 2:45-5:30 or 6pm. If/when school is closed, we may be open all day from 7am-6pm with up to 10 hour shifts available.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be friendly, hard working, flexible and LOVE children. Previous experience in a daycare setting or college credit in the education field are helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right people.
We have up to 65 kids ages 5-10 years old spread throughout our building any given day! We all work together to set the kids up for success in academics and behavior. You must be willing to work as a team and do what needs to be done daily to help the kids as well as keep the facility clean.
