Clubhouse Unit Coordinator 
 
*$1,000.00 Sign-On Bonus: $250 at hire, $250 after 3 months of service, and $500 after 6 months of service.*

Horizon House is seeking an energetic, flexible individual with the ability to multi-task, and to engage clubhouse members in work through a partnership model. Horizon House is a comprehensive clubhouse program that serves adults with mental illness.  
 
Be part of a team providing support in employment, advocacy, and social activities in a dynamic, rehabilitative environment.
 
This is an exciting full-time position in which you will be responsible for engaging Clubhouse members in the work of the Clubhouse.
 
You will work side-by-side with members to coordinate the work of the Clubhouse Culinary Unit. 
 
The Culinary Unit prepares breakfast and lunch every day for Clubhouse members and staff. In addition to cooking meals, the Culinary Unit does all of the menu planning and food purchasing. 
 
Other essential duties include:
  • tracking the Culinary Unit budget
  • planning Health and Wellness activities
  • overseeing the planning of in house parties and events
  • maintaining the kitchen in a clean and sanitary manner
 
A key aspect of the Culinary Unit Coordinator position is meeting all Board of Health expectations for a food establishment.
 
Schedule: This position is Monday- Friday 8am-4pm, plus occasional Thursday evenings, Saturdays and Holidays.

Required Skills
  • Individuals with a lived experience of mental illness are encouraged to apply
  • Driver’s license and car required
  • Strong computer/technical skills
Required Experience
  • Servesafe Certification is a plus
  • BA/BS and/or relevant experience preferred
  • Clubhouse experience preferred
