Position Type

Part-Time: At Least 16 hours/week

This is an hourly position: $15.00/hour
Supervision hours provided at no cost!

Essential Responsibilities of Role

  • Provide clinical services to children, youth and their families when needed
  • Act in conjunction with child and youth service agencies, as well as community and school partners in the area. 

Required Education, Skills and Abilities

  • Enrollment in and completion of relevant coursework in a Master’s Program in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, Art Therapy, or other approved and related degree
  • Ability to be CPR certified required
  • Strength-based approached in working with children, youth and families
  • Individual must be sensitive to the socioeconomic and cultural characteristics of the population served.
  • Group process theories & approaches
  • Child and adolescent psychological/emotional development
