Economic Development Business Incentives Consultant

We are looking for a candidate to assist with new ImagiNE Nebraska Act and a host of other incentives programs specifically designed to help recruit and retain businesses in our State. This is a chance to enhance your career while also shaping the future business landscape of Nebraska.
• Assists with the creation and implementation of the ImagiNE Revolving Loan Fund (RLF)
• Provides technical counseling to businesses to help them through the loan process
• Review business loan applications and prepare documents for loan processing
• Monitor ongoing loan activity to ensure payments are made and the loan fund is solvent
• Service loans and serve as a point of contact of the Department of Revenue
• Serve as a liaison between businesses, communities, and the Department educating stakeholders on how the loan fund can be used a tool for expansion and recruitment
• Coordinate program reporting for quarterly and annual reports to management
• Perform other work as assigned
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics, public administration, community or regional planning, or a related degree. Experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis.
