2022 Rookie Summer League Internship - Engineering & Technology

As an Under Armour Rookie you’ll be given a hands-on, self-driven project that makes a real business impact. Throughout the 12 weeks you’ll work one-on-one with a mentor and have access to learning experiences, such as interactive Q&A sessions with our executives and professional development opportunities with our talent advisors. With our focus on cross-functional collaboration and global mindset, as a Rookie, you get to see how your work goes way beyond yourself.
 
To be eligible for our Rookie program, you must be expecting to graduate between December of 2022 and June 2023.
 
Potential Placement Areas:
 
Backend Engineer
Engineering Rookies will join a team focused on creating software to power the future of connected fitness. The Backend Engineer Rookie will support our complex backend engineering systems along with our altered large legacy systems that handle millions of transactions per day. Our systems are mostly on the JVM as Scala/Finagle or Java/Spring Boot, though some legacy systems use Python/Django, Go, and Ruby/Rails. This opportunity might appeal to students with majors such as: Informatics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
 
Hardware Engineer
Hardware Rookies supports our team in building best-in-class custom hardware modules with custom firmware. This opportunity might appeal to students with majors such as: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Embedded Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
 
Commerce Services Engineer
The Digital Commerce Rookie will support maintaining a customer series ecosystem that host millions of customers across Web, iOS and Android. Digital Commerce engineering works with open-source technology operating as part of an Agile delivery team and are proficient in JavaScript, Roby, Python or Java. The Rookie will assist with projects focused on executing full lifecycle software development. This opportunity might appeal to students with majors such as: Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
 
Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
The Enterprise Data Management Rookie will join a team powering the storage, processing, integration and cataloging of UA data. As an EDM Rookie you will work across teams to support building pipelines, services, and tools that enable both internal teammates and our integrated systems with the data, information, and knowledge to fulfill UA’s mission. This opportunity might appeal to students with majors such as: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Management, Data Science/Analytics, Economics or Engineering.
