Medical & Surgical Technician

Brinton Vision is looking to hire full-time candidates who are pre-med/pre-PA/pre-optometry to train as ophthalmic technicians. Our goal is to hire students in their gap year(s) between college and medical/PA/optometry school so that they can work in our office full-time (40 hours/week). The position is full-time, Monday through Friday with benefits. Typically this position entails assisting with diagnostic testing, clinical visits, surgical procedures, and scribing. We are looking for someone motivated, hard-working, outgoing and anxious to learn in our fast-paced office. On-site job training is provided and no previous experience is required.

 

Dr. Brinton is a fellowship trained, board certified surgeon in the area of cornea and refractive surgery. Brinton Vision is his privately owned ophthalmic clinic specializing in LASIK and vision correction surgery. Dr. Brinton graduated from Harvard Medical School and is an internationally recognized specialist in the area of LASIK and refractive surgery.

 

Brinton Vision has its own in-office surgical suite where we are able to perform intraocular and vision correction procedures. Student will receive both clinical and surgical experience that presents well on resumes for medical and optometry school applications.
