Operations Intern
Erlinger Sales operates an online agricultural retail and wholesale distributor named Chemical Warehouse. As we continue to expand our e-commerce presence, we are looking for an ambitious employee with a future degree in any of the following: Agricultural Business, Crop Management, General Agriculture, Natural Resources, Ag. Communications, or Wildlife Conservation and Management to help support our selected business operations. This is a great opportunity for business and personal development. Our facility is currently in Camdenton, MO but we will be moving to a new warehouse in Osage Beach here in 2022. This position may lead to a future career with Erlinger Sales.
Responsibilities:
This position will require an interest in agricultural chemical sales and distribution. This position involves all facets of business as an intern employee. You will be responsible for the packaging and processing of individual customer orders, improving online content and presentation, researching product offerings, inventory tracking, warehouse operations, improving customer satisfaction, settling in our new facility, and a variety other tasks.
Requirements:
You must be motivated and able to work autonomously. Strong writing and communication skills are needed. Strong computer skills are also beneficial. An agriculture background is appreciated but is not required. Being able to lift 55-pound packages is required. Candidates with an Agricultural degree, an interest in Agricultural Business, and or Crop Management / Crop Protection will be highly considered
Hours and Pay:
- 40 hours a week
- Monday through Friday 9 AM – 5 PM
- $15 an hour
