Orthopaedic Healthcare Business Assistant - Medical Education

The Missouri Orthopaedic Institute, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, central Missouri’s largest freestanding Orthopaedic center, is seeking a highly motivated, engaged, and committed Student Employee for our Medical Education Team . 
 
The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in the success of sustaining our department’s mission: advance the clinical, research and teaching components of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Missouri.
 
This position will support the of Missouri Orthopaedic Institute and C3 Orthopaedics Initiative (Comprehensive, Cutting Edge, Caring Culture), which fosters a fast learning and continuously improving organization.

Position Overview:
·        Build and grow credibility, relationships and understanding of department service lines to ensure optimal clinical support
·        Assist with the strategies of supporting the assigned service line team to ensure long-term success
·        Assist in projects and organization of the medical education program at Missouri Orthopaedic Institute including but not limited to Observers, Residents, and Fellows
·        Generate sign-in sheets for upcoming lectures for Residents and Fellows and record attendance
·        Help maintain the residents curriculum calendar
·        Update the New Innovations (e-learning site) designed to offer resources for Residents and Fellows in regards to upcoming lectures
·        Organize and prepare materials for graduations and various events for the celebration of our Residents and Fellows
·        Complete projects as defined for all “student assistants” under the Student Task List
·        Assist the medical education staff including: Program Directors, Program Coordinators, Residents and Fellows
