Agricultural Content Writing Intern (Remote)
Soil scientist turned entrepreneur Matt Wood founded SCD Probiotics in 1998 to create products that don’t just replace the toxic chemicals in our lives, but go beyond nontoxic as living, regenerative products that actively build health. The company’s agricultural division helps livestock producers and crop farmers build long term farm health and profitability with improved animal, plant, and soil health, ROI, and yields using probiotics and probiotic biochemicals. SCD Probiotics is headquartered in the heart of the country, in Kansas City, MO and manufactures 97% of its products here in the US.
The Agricultural Content Writing Intern will work with members of SCD Probiotics’s sales and marketing team to write B2B content for farmers and executives at multinational agricultural companies alike. With guidance from SCD’s team—including subject matter experts—they will take scientific data and topics and create search-friendly blog posts with the audiences’ business goals in mind. Ideal candidates will be curious and driven to learn independently throughout the internship.
Responsibilities include:
- Writing 2-4 blog posts per month
- Blogs will require a mix of synthesizing research data provided by SCD and performing independent (online) research
- Make revisions as necessary following review by SCD editors and subject matter experts
- Follow guidelines for creating search-engine friendly content, keyword use, etc.
Please include a link to an online portfolio or provide at least three relevant writing samples with your application.
