EverGrain is an ingredient venture whose purpose is to make products healthier, taste better, and more sustainable. The business was launched by Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2019 and features new technology that repurposes brewer’s grain – barley – to produce plant protein ingredients. EverGrain is expanding operations in North America and Europe, and building related operations and commercial leadership teams.
As part of this growth plan, EverGrain seeks to hire a Group Manager for the plant located in St. Louis, MO.

Job Description
  • Strong safety ownership that leads by example. Promotes and encourages safe working practices through training, coaching, and driving accountability of team members.
  • Develop a product driven quality mindset, focused on exceeding customer requirements. Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality excellence by driving operational excellence and mitigating behavioral risk factors.  
  • Lead and coach teams through troubleshooting and monitoring of key operating processes and equipment utilizing lean manufacturing and six sigma methodology.
  • Identify areas to improve operations to achieve or exceed key performance indicators and targets.
  • As a servant leader, work to remove barriers and unlock the potential of their teams to drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, inventories, and schedules to ensure excellent process performance and product quality while managing highly automated, complex processes in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, food science, science or related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, ownership mentality, and ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to adapt and lead change in a fast pace, start-up environment.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  • Technical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Passionate about EverGrain’s mission and leading sustainability initiatives specific to product manufacturing.
  • Required to work rotating shifts and potentially some nights and weekends.
