Catering Sales Administrator

We are the face and name of Levy, providing the most premium food and beverage experiences that Levy has to offer. This role will support the campus-wide sales and catering team.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Catering Sales Department needs such as:
·       Manages smaller revenue-generating events: game day group sales upgrades
·       Maintains strong relationships with clients during the coordination, execution, final payment and evaluation stages of services.
·       Has strong attention to detail
·       Ensures team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobs in executing group sales events
·       Builds and maintains strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors and Levy team members
·       Process Credit Card Payment: Assist Catering Sales Team in the processing of payment for deposits and final payments
·       Regularly obtains feedback from clients and guests to improve operations
·       Weekly Forecast Update: Works in Building Partner’s operating system Salesforce to update weekly financial forecast with new events and financial details
·       Respond and assist in any group sales guest service issues
·       Assists Director of Operations in department administrative tasks
·       Performs all other duties assigned

CONTROLS
·       Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (BirchStreet, Point-of-sale, MyStaff, Infor, eLevy and more)
·       Executes required forecasts, analyses and daily reporting in a timely manner
·       Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month end closing
·       Assures the Complete billing for client services and receipt of payments in accordance with Levy Core Signature guidelines
TEAM
·       Displays a positive attitude towards team members
·       Develops and maintains strong relationships with operating departments

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in hospitality field or related field preferred
·       Exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Ability to foster strong relationships with client by understanding their expectations and emphasizing high quality
·       English reading, writing, math and computer skills required
·       Judgement and Decisiveness: has ability, skill and vision to analyze issues and use sound judgement while making balanced decisions. Strong aptitude in critical thinking, problem solving skills and seeks innovative solutions
·       Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously to completion
·       Performs with a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and effectiveness
·       Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
·       Ability to talk and hear to conduct phone correspondence
·       Must be able to work independently and as part of a team with high enthusiasm and creativity
·       Result Oriented: Sets goals in alignment with company priorities, organizes work to achieve goals, identifies and solves problems, achieves targeted results, accepts responsibility for own actions
·       Possesses extensive computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and more)
