Warehouse Associate-Part Time

The Production Worker is responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, assembly, packing, shipping and mailing of Maritz and client supplied goods/products.
This position is a temporary part time position and we can be flexible on the scheduling for this position. Most hours are within M-F, daytime hours. Can be some evenings and weekends. Great position for students in the St. Louis area to work part time while in school, someone wanting to work more school type hours (9-3 M-F) Have a summer business and want to pick up some extra work for Fall and Winter?
This position is a temporary part time position that will work on an on call basis. We can be flexible with a persons availability (days of the week and number of hours during the day) as long as it is between M-F, daytime hours. Preference giving to candidates that can work at least a 6 hour day but can be open to 4 hour schedules as well. In many cases, there will be a week or two notice on scheduling but there will also be some last minute work opportunities. Salary will be from $13 an hour. Position does not include benefits.

Reporting and Working Relationships
Reports to Warehouse leadership.
Interacts with Senior production Worker auxiliary staff, and warehouse management.
Primary Responsibilities
• 40%
Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise and collateral materials to be shipped. Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in appropriate areas.

Check or count freight, and received and picked goods for accuracy.
• 20%
Operates any materials handling, bindery or mail/shipping preparation equipment safely and efficiently as required.
• 20%
Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner.
Qualifications
1. Graduate of an accredited high school or GED.
2. Previous warehouse/production worker experience preferred
3. Ability to lift, 50 pounds
4. Detail oriented.
5. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
