Office Support Assistant - CAFNR Office of Academic Programs
- Greet and assist visitors by directing them to the appropriate staff or office.
- Answer phone, route calls, and respond to inquiries.
- Compose appropriate correspondence to inquiries.
- Compile research, financial, data, and other information as needed.
- Schedule facilities, equipment, and meals for events and meetings.
- Prepare expense and travel vouchers.
- Make travel arrangements for Recruitment and Career Services Directors and/or staff
- Reserve rooms, facilities, and equipment for events.
- Complete purchases both online and in store.
- Submit Purchasing Card logs and other financial documents in a timely manner.
- As requested, assist with CAFNR events (e.g., Graduation, Scholarship Donor Dinner, and Family Weekend).
- Assist in coordinating and organizing the Dickinson Scholars, Biochemistry Industry Tours, and Agribusiness Career Connection Program including logistics, dinners, orientations, etc.
- Assist in logistical planning, coordinating, management and correspondence of CAFNR’s Career & Internship Fairs and other events as assigned.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendar for the Director of Recruitment and/or the Recruitment and Events Specialist
- Organize information and materials for events, conferences, travel, and campus visits.
- Set up campus visits for prospective students and families (Includes extensive and timely correspondence with faculty, preparing itineraries, and mailing confirmation to prospective students with itinerary, parking permits, and directions to campus).
- Coordinate parking permits, meals (when necessary) for visiting groups, room reservations, vehicle rentals, recruitment event contracts, and lodging.
- Prepare electronic welcome sign for visitors.
- Oversee preparation of student recruitment folders and materials.
- Coordinate a variety of targeted mailings to groups; including high-ability students, multicultural students, newly admitted students, high school science teachers, high school agriculture teachers, guidance counselors, parents of prospective and current students, and general information inquires.
- Maintain multiple student recruitment databases.
- Other duties as assigned
$13.27 - $23.73 per hour
