Role Summary:
To serve as a liasion between Alstom and surrounding universities.
Responsibilities:
Builds a database of all Alstom intern candidates and former interns ensuring that it is updated regularly.
Explores networking events and opportuniti es for former interns to stay connected with Alstom.
Identi fi es the campus recruiti ng coordinators and contacts at key local schools. Gathers details about how they work,connects and builds the relati onship between the Alstom ambassador and these coordinators.
Understands and documents the recruiti ng cycle at key schools. Understands the diff erent forums that occurthroughout the year (info sessions, 1-off interview days, career fairs, etc).
Promotes Alstom brand awareness with universiti es so they know who Alstom is, what we do, and where we are. Liases with HR and Communciati ons to promote events on social media as well as securing promti onal swag forevents.
Takes all informati on learned about the universiti es and documents and communicates internally.
Assesses what it takes to become a more acti ve recruiter, partner. Has a university presence and suggests a budgetneeded to support these eff orts.
Qualifications:
Wide ranges of majors will be considered
The ability to work individually as well as contribute to a team project
An aptitude and passion for solving complex technical problems according to assignment function
Strong written, verbal, analytical, Excel and interpersonal skills required
Desired Characteristics:
Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism
Strong computer skills, to include proficiency with Microsoft Office
Demonstrated accountability in assignment completion
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and proactively take on new assignments and challenges
