Berry Household - Personal Care Attendant for Summer

I am looking for a female PCA to assist with daily activities. Job responsibilities may include: 

- Assisting me with transfers to/from wheelchair

- Meal preparation & light cleaning

- Personal care

- Transportation to/from recreation & leisure activities 

- Grocery shopping

- Care of canine companion

Hours are flexible, and pay starts at $11.15/hr. On the job training is provided by a current PCA.

Summer assistance is most needed, starting ASAP and continuing through the summer and longer if possible. Need assistance also specifically between August 1-18.

On call rotation needed, running Sunday night through Friday night. On call shifts assignments are determined weekly and rotate with staff. Additional pay of $40-$48 per week or $56 weekend for on call shift (regardless of whether you are called or not.)

-Specific need immediately is Mondays and Wednesdays: assistance needed to transport to gym from 3:45-6:00 (there is a lot of down time after you arrive at the gym, so could work on homework/projects.)

-Specific need immediately for Monday and Wednesday PM shifts

-Specific need immediately for on call rotation for Sunday nights

-Specific need every other weekend

Applicants must be flexible and able to work in team environment.

Must me respectful and reliable.

Able to pass a background check and be CPR certified.

Must have reliable transportation.

This position runs through two agencies, and applicants much sign up with both. I will provide this information upon interview.

Advantage Home Care on Weekdays: starting pay is $13.50

Help at Home on Weekends: starting pay is $15.00
