We are passionate about developing future engineers, so kick-start your career by taking advantage of this unique position to gain valuable work experience while still in school.

The structural internship provides an opportunity for structural engineering students to work in a wide variety of building design fields such as educational facilities, healthcare and wellness facilities, commercial and industrial buildings, parking structures, performing arts venues, hospitality and multi-family housing, governmental institutions and historic renovation projects.

Applicants must be motivated and possess excellent written and verbal skills. Internships typically last 2.5 to 6 months depending upon candidate's availability. Job responsibilities vary depending on available projects at the time of the internship. For mutual benefit, it is recommended that a few structural design classes (steel design, concrete design, or other similar material design coursework) be completed prior to interning.
