Sunflower Hill Farm is a family run wedding and events venue with a 200 quest capacity as well as a small organic farm and cafe. We are located at 245 Terry Rd near Augusta, Missouri. We are a small team that works together on every aspect of our property to ensure it is ready for all avenues of our business. We pride ourselves on the high quality service that we provide to every person that visits Sunflower Hill Farm to ensure an exceptional experience. As a member of our Events team, you will be primarily responsible for assisting the Executive Director of Wedding and Events in the preparation and execution of the events.
• Assist with execution of all aspects of an event day including: venue setup, wedding ceremony & reception coordination, and post-event cleanup. • Assist with preparation for all events including: planning meetings, communications and correspondence, ceremony rehearsals and special requests. • Timely communication to emails, online event inquiries and questions. • Prepare venue and catering contracts and payment schedules • Provide prospective clients tours of the property • Manage company’s profiles on The Knot and WeddingWire • Schedule and coordinate in-house catering tastings Qualifications • Strong customer service orientation • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Effective time management and organizational skills • Capacity for working most weekends from April through November, particularly in the Fall when we typically have 2 events per weekend Education & Experience Degree in Hospitality Management and/or 1+ year experience in the field
