Description:
We are looking for Youth Specialists to join our community to engage with, implement structure, care for, and mentor our 60 teens throughout a daily schedule. This schedule will consist of therapeutic groups, recreational group activities, outdoor work projects, schooling, and more (example of weekly schedules are available upon request). Staff should perform well under pressure and be skilled in problem solving as they will gain experience in crisis management as crisis situations may occasionally arise.
The applicants should be energetic, motivated, responsible, mature individuals that are unmarried and over the age of 21.

Compensation:
The total compensation package which includes
• Monthly salary with increases every 3 months
• Room & board
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• $2000 finishing bonus upon completion of a year's service.
Also, if a staff member decides to stay beyond the one year commitment, they will qualify for Heartlight's 401(k) program which matches a maximum of 8%. You will also receive 30 days Paid Time Off.

Staff will be trained during the two-three weeks following their start date and will be involved in biweekly small groups with other Residential Staff to promote positive community and accountability.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree,
• Valid driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check

Additional requirements:
Must be relationally focused, responsible, dependable, a self starter, and perform well under pressure
