Within our Financial Communications practice, we have established a leading Investor Relations vertical that counsels companies on effective communications to the investment community, including message and content development, earnings support, analyst and investor engagement, and investor day planning.  
 
About the Opportunity:
 
The Account Executive, Investor Relations, will be responsible for supporting the execution of IR and financial communications programs of our clients. The candidate must be fluent in the capital markets and possess an understanding of the investor relations function, including disclosure, earnings and guidance, governance, investor targeting and relationship building, M&A, capital raises and crisis situations.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Play a critical role on account teams that provide counsel to clients on messaging and positioning across all external investor and financial communications, including quarterly earnings news releases and conference call scripts, material corporate news, investor presentations and general 1x1 and group communications with the investment community
Actively manage and participate in the development of messaging and positioning of company business models and corporate developments
Support traditional “retainer” based IR and financial media clients
Serve as fully outsourced IR to corporate clients by providing tactical counsel, logistics coordination and earnings support, in addition to other investor engagement responsibilities
Aggregate and manage analyst financial models and consensus estimates 
Oversee and support transaction-oriented project work (including but not limited to, M&A, IPOs, shareholder activism, and investor days)
Drive content creation for critical IR collateral including company presentations, earnings scripts, strategic press releases, annual letters to shareholders, websites and social media content
Conduct competitive intelligence, including research and benchmarking, on behalf of clients
Engage with corporate and C-suite level executives on client executions
Basic Requirements
Strong knowledge of and interest in the stock market, general business trends, media and investor relations, crisis and special situations work
1-4 years of professional experience in an advisory, investor relations, financial analysis, or financial communications role
Experience in investment banking, equity research, or similar buy or sell-side exposure is a plus
Demonstrated communication skills in writing, editing, presenting, and interacting with clients
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and be resourceful 
A motivated self-starter with an analytical mindset and strong critical thinking skills
An optimistic and committed team player
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with relevant data platforms, including Bloomberg, and Nasdaq IR Insight is a plus
