Special Needs Unit (SNU) Qualified Mental Health Professional
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team in the Special Needs Unit (SNU) at Potosi Correctional Center, located in Mineral Point, Missouri.
The Qualified Mental Health Professional provides comprehensive mental health assessment and treatment in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality, evidence-based, behavioral/mental health services to offenders with intellectual developmental disorders, who may also have other comorbid mental illnesses, within a specialty mental health unit.
Qualifications:
- Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required
- Active professional license to practice independently in the state of Missouri OR be license eligible
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation
- Must possess current CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance
- Behavioral/mental health experience in a correctional and/or mental health residential treatment unit environment preferred
Shift Available: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, On-call rotation with stipend.
