POSITION DESCRIPTION: Creekside's Bed and Biscuit LLC is a premier pet care facility in Columbia, Mo. We have an on going need for Part Time employment
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Qualified applicants will be highly self-motivated and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, pet focused, team environment; previous pet care experience in a similar facility is a must; demonstrate strong verbal communication skills; be able to work with shifting priorities; have a sense of humor and enjoy working around animals.
This is not a position that consist of playing with puppies and kittens but rather providing a clean healthy environment for our guest to stay in.
It is hard work, involves lots of cleaning, and lots of poop.
This position requires your full attention. It is extremely detail oriented. The health, happiness and safety of our guests depend on your pet care knowledge, keen observation skills, and attention to detail.
- Position is physically demanding and requires great deal of stamina
- Superior animal handling skills with all sizes and breeds of dogs is a must
The facility operates 7 days per week, 365 days per year, thus requires a flexible schedule including early mornings, afternoons, nights, holidays, and weekends are a must.
-Employee will be required to work in our retail area, front desk, boarding and dog.
- Good customer service, phone, and computer skills are a necessity.
-You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Please DO NOT apply if you have none of the experience required. This position will be required to work both the front desk along with attending to the dogs in playgroups, feeding, walking, administer medications and ensure a safe environment for dogs and employees.

- Shift work along with the ability to work weekends and holidays are required for all positions
- Must be willing to clean and scrub tediously for long periods of time
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift at least 50 LBS
