Nursery Management Internship

Have you wanted to know what it was like to work for a big nursery growing native plants? Well here is the chance!

Interns can get experience in several departments here at the nursery. Each week interns will rotate between the different departments to learn what it takes to run a nursery. Departments that will be mentored is Sales, Inventory, Garden Center, Production, Propagation, and Order Pulling. If there is a desire, interns can spend a week learning about the Agroforestry practices here at the nursery. At the end of the internship, interns will be able to choose a department they would like to learn more about and get the opportunity to work in those areas.

At the end of the internship, we would like the interns to provide a simple presentation about their experience and what was learned. As well as if they believe changes could be made, then would be a great time to share those thoughts. Trips may be included in the internship dependent on availability. Start and end dates can be adjusted to each individual's needs.
