Our campus consists of three distinct constituent groups, staff, faculty, and students, whom all embrace the purpose of social change. Within this structure, this is a critical position that has the opportunity to influence all three constituencies. Colorado College has 11 unique divisions: Communications, Finance & Administration, Advancement, Student Life, Information Technology, The President's Office, Dean of the Faculty, Dean of the College, Enrollment Services, Human Resources, and Athletics. CC is also home to the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center.

CC is looking for the next Antiracism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator. A position that will actively take part in CC's commitment to becoming an antiracist institution. This position is situated within the Division of Finance and Administration and reports to the AVP of Inclusion & Diversity for Staff.

Responsibilities:

• Champion and support the college’s commitment to becoming an antiracist institution
• Administrative support: development of communications, data analysis, development of reports, budgets, and spreadsheets, agenda development, and accurate recording of meeting minutes.
• Program Coordination: scheduling/coordinating events, planning and implementation of Bridge Scholars Program (access program for first-gen students and/or from marginalized and minoritized backgrounds) including student recruitment, family engagement, and outreach.
• Customer Service Excellence: Maintain professional and welcoming nature, cultivate community partnerships both internally and externally, lead with integrity and display ethical conduct in the best interest of the college.

o Actively support the college’s plan to be an antiracist institution by understanding, engaging with, and promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in the college community.
o Promote a culture of safety and environmental protection by working in a safe manner; immediately reporting unsafe
situations and accidents; following college procedures; and participating in appropriate safety training.
o Demonstrate environmental sustainability by using college resources wisely and supporting the college’s sustainability
initiatives and innovation.
o Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

o Actively support the college’s plan to be an antiracist institution by understanding, engaging with, and promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in the college community.
o Promote a culture of safety and environmental protection by working in a safe manner; immediately reporting unsafe
situations and accidents; following college procedures; and participating in appropriate safety training.
o Demonstrate environmental sustainability by using college resources wisely and supporting the college’s sustainability
initiatives and innovation.
o Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with young adults
• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds
• 5 years of relatable experience and a high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of relatable experience
• Experience working with college students
