Product Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a Product Marketing Specialist that would like to expand their abilities and experience, receive promotions, and prosper in a rich learning environment. Candidates must be outgoing, highly intuitive, and organized with the ability to think creatively and arrive at concrete solutions. Candidates must also possess self-confidence and exhibit strong ownership and initiative.

Required Responsibilities: 
  • Generate new ideas to assist underserved youth in realizing their true academic ability.  
  • Support current school and customer accounts through copywriting and marketing. 
  • Write marketing materials including emails, eblasts, advertisements, brochures, and proposals. 
  • Understand our products, markets, customers, and technologies. 
  • Prepare well-targeted email lists for email campaigns. 
  • Review documents and correct content, mechanical, and typographical errors. 
  • Update the company website with modern content and copy. 
  • Conduct market research for better advertising company-wide. 
  • Create presentations and assist with marketing campaigns. 

Education and Experience:  
  • Some college education for internship position 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred for part-time or full-time position 
  • Coursework in journalism and other writing disciplines 
  • Proficiency in computer programs ideal for editorial usage 
  • Experience with WordPress, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel and eBlast software is a plus 
  • Background in education or standardized testing is a plus 

Compensation and Benefits: 
  • Competitive hourly pay based on skills and experience for internship position 
  • Base salary commensurate with experience plus additional compensation opportunities for full-time position 
  • Full-time benefits include department-based incentives, health insurance, flexible hours, and paid holidays and time off
