Personal Assistant/caregiver - MS

Located: South St. Louis County between Lemay Ferry and Tesson Ferry

We are looking for a Personal Assistant for our 13-year-old nonverbal autistic son. He loves being outdoors, swimming, and going places, so we are looking for someone who is creative, independent and enjoys challenges.

Responsibilities include assisting him with daily living activities including meal preparation, engaging in recreational and community activities, providing supervision, and training him to assist in meeting personal goals and providing a safe and healthy environment. Candidate must be able to communicate well and complete daily documentation using an electronic record-keeping system.

Preferably, a person interested in gaining experience for their future professional career in education, nursing, PT, OT, or child development. Must be 18 years or older. Part-time: Up to 25 hours for weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays
