AQUATICS INTERN

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND BENEFITS 

The Aquatics intern plays a vital role as the eyes and ears of the Aquatics Director on the pool deck. This position involves managing the day-to-day activities of the pool area, from swim and dive meets to pool parties and relaxing lounge days. This summer job offers a fantastic opportunity to hone your customer service skills, discover your management style, and learn the front and back of house operations of the Food and Beverage industry, along with some crucial aquatic skills. 

JOB TASKS 

Welcome members and guests to the pool 

Point person on the pool deck for members, guests and staff

Ensure that all employees have arrived to their shift and are ready to work

Manage the pool staff during their shift and ensure they are providing the Blue Hills level of service

Responsible for making sure the pool deck is clean and up to the Blue Hills standard Assist with the scheduling of private swim lessons and pool parties

Assist with execution of swim and dive meets 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 Be able to stand in the summer heat for long periods of time 

May be asked to lift objects up to 40lbs.

 Be able to swim in 12ft water

 PAY RANGE: $20 AN HOUR
