DIRECTOR, EXPORT PROGRAMS
USB seeks an individual to join its Strategy Team. The Director, Export Programs will lead and foster a unified and strategic approach to export promotion. By aligning strategies, USB aims to better leverage its export investments to support global market growth and yield a clearer export strategy. This individual will collaborate and communicate between USB and its export partners for a mutually beneficial export strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with export partners in the strategy and planning phases, representing USB and fostering alignment.
• Ensure quality control in the export proposals and reports.
• Manage, monitor, and evaluate the annual export programs and budgets, including integration in USB’s project/portfolio management system.
• Support the Board and committees making export investment decisions with all export related materials and advise the Board on export program investments.
• Develop market briefs, reports, and presentations to inform Board decisions.
• Facilitate and improve coordinated strategy and collaboration among key programming areas across domestic and export research and promotion, including sustainability, feed, food, and fuel.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in international business, business management, marketing, or a technical field related to export programs.
• Master’s in related field (preferred)
• 5-10 years of experience in agriculture, global markets, or a related industry.
• Experience in and understanding of international markets (preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
