Medical Scribe

Looking for pre-medical students/graduates interested in scribing for a podiatry clinic. Important skills include attention to detail, willingness to assist with medical procedure, medical terminology, proficient at typing, and an eagerness to learn.

Scribes are becoming an essential role in the healthcare system. Scribes assist with creating medical notes including the HPI, physical exam, and treatment. Other duties include rooming patients, recording medications, and assisting in office procedures.

When not in clinic there are opportunities to assist with our clinical research. Scribes who show proficiency in the clinic have the opportunity to become clinical research assistants/coordinators. We have multiple ongoing trials including pain, wound, nerve, and vascular studies.

This job is perfect for gap year students applying to medical/podiatry school. Improve your medical school application with clinical and research hours.  Many of our pre-med students also learn to scrub tech and circulate our surgical suite.

Our main office is in O'Fallon, Illinois but there is a office in Creve Coeur and Columbia, IL. Our clinical research site may be moving from O'Fallon IL to STL in the fall as we work to expand our variety of research trials.
