The Management-in-Training Internship Program introduces college seniors / alumni to Retail Management at a Fortune 500 Company. The Program is designed as a full-time 10 week program, which can be used for academic internship credit. Start Dates for the Internship can begin throughout the year, each semester.
This Management Training involves working in one store location while rotating through all aspects of Sales and Retail Management, including Customer Service and all merchandise areas. Managers-in-Training are mentored by the Store Manager, Sales Managers and Visual Manager, allowing individuals gain an understanding of store operations, and train to be in charge of a multi-million dollar business with immediate opportunity to demonstrate sales leadership and management skills.
The focus also prepares individuals to transition to entry level management career positions within Dillard's stores upon college graduation. Tremendous career growth opportunity is available through performance-based promotions providing upward advancement with Dillard’s via upper Store Management or Corporate positions.
