Entry Level ABA Therapist
Join our Stamford, CT team as an ABA Therapist or RBT! Part-time and Full-time schedules available. Great opportunity for psychology, special education and social work majors! Can be used for internship hours based upon your internship requirements.
Connec-to-Talk is a privately-owned premier provider of ABA therapy anchored in 18+ years of experience with clinics and in home clients currently located in Connecticut, Maryland, South Carolina and New York (Playmates ABA Therapy, an affiliate of Connec-to-Talk).
The ABA Therapist is responsible for providing individual treatment for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges using Applied Behavior Analysis principles. The ABA Theerapist implements learning programs under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.

Qualifications
- A passion for working with children!
- HS diploma required
- Ability to travel between client locations
- At least 18 years or older to apply
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry clients (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
- Must be able to kneel, squat, sit on the floor and stand for extended periods of time during your ABA session with the client
- Must be physically present at assigned job location(s) which can include clinic, school, client’s home or community based settings
- Must be willing and able to perform crisis intervention (physically hold, restrain or block) as indicated by the client’s Behavior Intervention Plan while working with children with challenging behavior
- Must be able to receive information through oral communication and written communication via phone, computer or tablet
