Behavioral Health Director
We’re seeking a strong leader to direct a successful outpatient behavioral health program, as our Behavioral Health Director!
The Behavioral Health Director provides leadership and coordination to multidisciplinary teams. The Behavioral Health Director will work to develop program goals and objectives, focused on continuous improvement and growth. The director will oversee quality assurance, administrative services, and prescriber services within the program, in addition to hiring new team members, and providing training and evaluation to current staff.
Location:
This role is in-person and based out of our Everett clinic, but occasional travel may be necessary to our other clinic locations which include; Mountlake Terrace, Everett, Mount Vernon, Bellingham, and Oak Harbor.
Job Duties:
· Provide leadership and direct supervision of assigned staff
· Assist in interviewing and hiring new team members. Provide training and evaluation to current staff.
· Develop appropriate strategies and performance evaluations for the program.
· Provide training and evaluation for program staff, supervisors and directors.
· Coordinate services with community and regulatory agencies
· Identify opportunities to implement new programs and services.
· Develop operations budget
· Ensure compliance mandates concerning business management functions of the clinical area
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory mandates
· Ensure the management and implementation of measurable quality improvement efforts.
· Recommend, monitor and enforce administrative policies and procedures while maintaining quality and productivity.
· Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Compensation:
· $115,000 - $156,000/year
- Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure.
Essential Requirements: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
Education: Master’s degree in behavioral science or related field; and meet educational and training requirements for designation as a Mental Health Professional, preferred.
Experience: Five years of experience in a Behavioral Health Care setting, including administration, supervisory and/or management experience in a mental health setting, and significant experience with adults with persistent and complex mental health issues. Experience working with adults who have chemical dependency issues, preferred.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
Licensure/Certification: Washington State LMHC, LMFT, LICSW or equivalent preferred
Other Considerations:
- DSHS background clearance required.
- Current valid Washington State Driver’s License.
- Liability insurance in the minimum amount of $50,000.
- Skill using Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated leadership ability.
- Flexible. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in challenging dynamic situations including behavioral and staffing issues.
- Skill in reading, synthesizing, and acting upon multifaceted information.
